Ello Social Network Against Facebook, Brought iOS App

It’s been a year, when a new social network Ello has come against Facebook to offer privacy and ad-free connectivity to their networks. Since the time of its launch, Ello was being offered its services through invite-only system. Well, it is going to end as the inventers of this anti-Facebook social network made it public for all. Yes, an iPhone app has been introduced for all to take the benefit of this ad-free Ello.

It’s a clear indication that Ello’s founders are taking revenge with Facebook, providing such kind of social network. Well, whatever it is but it’s a good way for people who got frustrated from Facebook because of the Ads and unsecure data. But, this network will not happen this with you. None of your data will be sold to any third-party and not any advertiser will interrupt you.

Ello iOS App

Last year, this new network was not completely furnished, and the absence of smartphone app was the main factor of its ignorance as today’s world depends on smartphone. Well, the creaters understood the world’s demand and for that reason, they made corrections and brought new features along with an iOS app.

This time, users can connect without any invite and the app are on its full glory with enhanced features. As Budniz stated, "The only thing you could do [on Ello at launch] was post and follow people." But now, users can love content instead of like (We use Like on Facebook), posts can be repost and we can also comment on the same.

Soundcloud is also there to help users post videos, pictures and audio files. The question will be rumbling in your mind that how it works. First off, Ello started scanning your contacts saved in phone through Discover tab and then find people already active on Ello. It won’t share your any detail as email address will be encrypted first and then sent to the social network. Well, if it doesn’t show any Ad, and not share data with third party, then how it will generate revenues. So, the answer is, it will make money by charging some penny for its few premium features of the social network.
