Announcement for this new feature took place on April 27, Monday to rule the market where Skype and Hangout are already showing their competence. It seems like Facebook is thinking to transform its messaging app to a full-fledged platform to communicate.

Facebook Messenger with Video Calling Feature

To access this new feature, users need no any hectic process to follow.  You will need to simply tap the video icon on top right corner to start video calling. You can make such calls during the conversation. The best part of this new feature is its quality and speed. Company has maintained the quality and speed of video to offer top-of-the-line experience.

This video calling option will let users to make calls over mobile phone, without concerning about the platform. It means one person with Android phone and another with iOS device can communicate with each other using this video calling feature of Facebook Messenger.

Currently the users of select countries can take the benefit of such feature. Countries include Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Canada, Lithuania, Laos, Ireland, United States, UK, Uruguay, France, Mexico, Greece, Portugal, Poland, Oman, Norway, and Nigeria. The same will release for other countries in coming months hopefully. Facebook few weeks back brought a feature to send money to friends using the same Messenger app and still in development to make it a huge platform for communication.
