Go Melodious with Groove: Rebranded Xbox Music App with Windows 10 Features

Xbox Music which was depleted by its creator Microsoft to give a fresh beginning to Windows 10 seems rebranding as Groove. Yes, the Redmond giant is going to rebrand it with a new name along with some changes. Well, the Groove  app is almost identical in functionality with the Xbox Music, but you can find several differences in its interface.

Its proper navigation and easy to use menu are awesome. Microsoft has arranged everything perfectly in this new app. No matter which theme you have selected, it works effectively in light and dark themes. You can also take the benefit of features which you have found only in Windows 10 Preview.

Microsoft will also bring updation to the app in coming month. There is a good news for all music lovers, you can upload music tracks to OneDrive cloud storage and then listen any track for free which is on OneDrive right from your Xbox consoles, Android or iPhone, and Windows devices. However, to store around 40 million tracks on devices, you will have to pay the subscription amount of $9.99 per month or $99 per year for Groove. It will let you to download music from Windows store.

If you are the Xbox Music subscriber, then don’t worry, your account will automatically migrate with Groove app. As Windows 10 is getting final touch and is not so far from the launch. The release has been scheduled for July 29.

Apart from the Groove, Xbox Video has also got a new name for Windows 10 which is Movies & TV. With this app, you can download movies and TV shows, and also rent or buy them, but unlike Groove, it is limited for Windows 10 devices and Xbox consoles.
