Google upgraded Chromecast to support Spotify

During its Nexus event in San Francisco, Google has reportedly announced that its Chromecast has finally been upgraded to support Spotify. It looks like Google will bring out a lot of improvements in its Chromecast.

According to the reports by 9to5Google, the search giant is adding Spotify to support its Chromecast. This new upgradation in the Google's Chromecast was added at the Google's event on September 29th.

The Google's Chromecast, since long time supported the Google Play Music, Netflix, Pandora and other subscription services, but it will not allow Spotify to roll out in its list. Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming service. Now this time by opening the arms, Google is ready to welcome this new feature, being the best selling point of its new devices.

Google has opened the doors to Spotify and made many announcements related to the Chromecast.  This is the only way to develop a large scope in the field of latest updates, including brand new products, software, hardware and many more.

According to the reports, about more than 75 million users have one of the music holdouts that didn't work with Google's Chromecast. Now, Google is focusing on Spotify connect to play music at your home.

To take the music from Spotify, you have to get the Google's new Chromecast Audio and then connect it to a speaker or amplifier with a 3.5mm audio port. But this service is for the premium members only. A $35 dollar dongle will be available to receive multi-room support, later this year which could make a cheap home audio set up to take the enjoyment of the streaming music service.

Now, the Spotify support is available on the new Chromecast and Chromecast Audio today, and this support will roll out to older chromecast devices in coming weeks.
