IRCTC Connect App, Now Book the Railway Tickets has become more Handy

Indian Railways is becoming the tech hub steadily by updating itself with technology. The latest buzz to cover here is about the next innovative step IRCTC has made to each in every hand. Earlier the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation had released an app for BlackBerry 10 smartphones earlier. One more app had also been launched by the organization for Windows smartphone. That app was developed only for tracking the trains’ position and their running status.

Now, the Indian Railways has come out with a new app named IRCTC Connect and this time, it is for Android smartphones. This app has brought something bigger and better than its all previous apps. Official IRCTC Connect App enable users to book railway tickets, check the availability of tickets, Checking the reservation status and many more. Booking history, recent history, ticket cancelation, train schedule, routes and may other things can also be done with this application. So, book a ticket becomes handier with IRCTC Connect. It needs few easy clicks to do any task described above.

However, the app has received lots of negative feedbacks in reviews because of bugs and ad-support. The description on Google Play reads, "Rail ticketing now made simpler just by swipe and shuffle, select and book. Install the newly launched IRCTC android app and book a railway ticket anywhere in India at your fingertips."

You can download the app from Google Play for free which is 12MB in size and compatible with Android 4.1 and above. The app has a user guide to tell new users about how to use this app.
