Facebook seems busy in testing a new feature for its social networking app. A leak has suggested about the Facebook update which will add a dialer button. Yes, a dialer button on Facebook’s Android app has been caught during testing. A screenshot has been showed below giving the glimpse of this new feature.
Well, the tech giant did this mistakenly and we have got the chance to catch a glimpse of the same. Looking at the screenshot, one can easily see the Dialer icon with the name Phone along with the tag FB only in bracket. The feature was spotted by mistake so, click on this icon led to a ‘Not Found’ page. We could wish that we will get the chance soon to experience this new feature in our Facebook app. However, company itself has not revealed anything.
The social networking company does changes and tests with its app everytime and become ready always to do some updation and modification in its website and apps. Recently the company has updated its Messenger app by adding the option of sending money to friends using Facebook Pay for free.
Well, the new Dialer option will reportedly let users to block numbers from commonly blocked numbers. It also details the incoming calls on your number. You can simply say that it’s a kind of replacement of Dialer App which comes pre-installed in your smartphone. However, its hard to speculate that whether it will work for Facebook contact only, or it will be for the whole contact list in your smartphone.
