Mahindra Introduces DIGISense: A Cloud-Based Vehicle Connectivity Platform

Technology is taking over aggressively and expanding its services across every sector. In this technological race, Mahindra and Mahindra has gone a step ahead by launching their own online solution providing platform which is first of its kind in India. The technology is termed as DIGISense.

The online solution is a cloud server which will be connected at any point of time with the respective Mahindra customers of drivers, dealers, servicing teams, fleet operators. This is an innovative and helpful hand to all the service takers and vehicle owners.

This cloud-based service will be available across all the segments from construction equipment and tractors to passenger and commercial vehicles. The service encompasses all the data related to the vehicles of Mahindra and Mahindra for all the daily problems occurring in the concerned vehicles.

This project has been undertaken by corporate giants like Vodafone, Bosch and Tech Mahindra and was initially started three years ago. However, the subscription for the service is free of cost for the first year and will be charged starting from the second year.

The cloud service is able to provide data like route planning, delivery tracking, vehicle utilization reports, trip optimization, alerts, machine hour operations and geo-fencing.

Pawan Goenka, executive director, Mahindra & Mahindra said, "Our first focus was on commercial side and later we will come out with a version for passenger vehicles"
