Mr. Mat Velloso, an engineer at Microsoft has come up with a website called 'Twins or Not' which resembles to yet another website of Microsoft named 'How Old'. According to him, he designed the whole website in just 4 hours. This website aims at determining whether two faces are identical or not. Machine learning Application Program Interface (API) enables this website to perform and calculate test results. In order to get a result, you simply need to access this website Twins or Not’ and upload 2 images for which you wish to take the identity test. After analysing the facial features of both images, it tells you how much resemblance is there between them.
This website doesn't store any photo uploaded on the site, thus, making it safe and secure. So, users can enjoy the fun-filled activity without getting worried about their uploaded photos. However, the results obtained by this website are not very accurate just like the 'How Old' website which is often wrong in determining people's correct age.
Based on the technology of facial recognition, 'Twins or Not' is getting popular among users, irrespective of its inaccurate and dramatically incorrect calculations, which in a way are being enjoyed by the users.
