Microsoft May Compel You to Use Default Apps

Microsoft recently launched Windows 10 with many of the eye catching features. The much anticipated start button, cortana and many more traits are enriched within this new OS. But as usual, the IE is still not your first preference to surf the internet. You will naturally need to switch on to other browsers from the IE app, provided as the default application. But if you are the one who loves to run other apps instead of default apps, then you might be disappointed in coming tenure.

A recently released notes of Windows 10 preview will develop a pop-up whenever you try to switch over to an application other than the ones available by default. You will be asked to give a try to the inbuilt app or even make you to use the default software. This new concept may reach the public Insider Preview program or not, it is not yet confirmed. But the company is running different tests in order to implement this plan.

This is a basic phenomenon nowadays that most of the users install a new browser soon after running their first computer/laptop. With this move, Microsoft may be helping the users by protecting them from untrusted apps and getting their system affected by unwanted malware. But on the contrary, they are also trying to force the users to user their own apps instead other available in the market.
