Soocare X3: Xiaomi's New Smart Electric Toothbrush for USD 35

Chinese firm Xiaomi is constantly upgrading its database of products almost every day. It is known for trying its hands in diverse fields and now the company has set up a collaboration with another Chinese startup Soocare Cassels to design a completely new Smart Electric Toothbrush.

The newly designed toothbrush dubbed as 'Soocare X3' has been brought forward with a price tag of USD35 that nearly equals to INR 2,350 and is expected to compete against Philip's popular Sonicare lineup of electric toothbrushes.

The fact of it being a 'Smart product' makes it clear that its various features and abilities are controlled by its smartphone companion using Bluetooth. Its other specifications include a 1000mAh battery that as per company claims can deliver up to 25days of usage on a single charge and takes nearly 16 hours to reach the 100-percent mark. This toothbrush comes with a wireless charging module and as reports indicate the application would also display the overall battery life of the toothbrush.

Additionally, the toothbrush is IPX7-certified as well as is waterproof. The launching of this smart electric toothbrush is a part of Xiaomi's crowdfunding platform and is likely to begin its shipping from next month i.e., August.

Talking about the working methodology of this toothbrush, it uses a magnetic levitation acoustic wave motor that possesses a swing speed of up to 37,200 times per minute. The bristles of this toothbrush are 0.152 thin and have been designed by a U.S based company DuPont. Reports also indicate to the fact that the toothbrush has a sensitive as well as deep cleaning brush head.

One must note that the company kept its foot on Indian soil in the year 2014 and hence is also celebrating its Second Anniversary. As a part of this anniversary, the company is giving discounts on its Mi products namely Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi 4, Mi Power bank and Mi in-ear headphones. The users can take advantage of the available rebate from July 20 to July 22.
