Vodafone to reveal 4G Services in Kerela by the year end

Vodafone India, the country's No. 2 carrier company, has recently announced the launching of its 4G services in Kerela by the end of December this year.

The important cities which are selected for the first ray of 4G services includes Kochi, Trivandrum and Kozhikode and would be launched across the circle in a phased manner, Abhijit Kishore, Business Head- Kerela, Vodafone India, said in a statement.

Vodafone group mentioned in a statement that it will also roll out its own 3G networks in 7 circles, including Assam, North East, UP West, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala and Odisha for the expansion of its overall 3G networks to 16 circles across the country.

Vodafone is also creating a robust architecture with a sturdy support and delivers a high network speeds for providing a better customer experience in the highstake 4G battle. 4G services, typically, make it much faster than 3G services to surf the web on mobiles, tablets and laptops.

The company has already invested about more than Rs.350 crore for the upliftment of state towards its network upgradation. The testing of the company toward this initiative has commenced successfully and the company has collaborated with leading global technology infrastructure service providers in the network to roll out.

Vodafone unveiled this service in Kerela, because it is a significant and a key focus market for Vodafone India. It is one of the top market, which is having the more data consumption in the country.  With around 15% of the data revenue are collected by the company from here.

Vodafone's 4G vanity in India comes true, soon after the Idea will announced to invest Rs.1,000 crore for the 4G services to roll out in 2016.
