The next generation BMW 4-series gran coupe facelift has been clicked while testing prior to its global debut which is expected to take place later this year. The much notable updates in the facelift treatment include revised front and rear bumper along with the new head and tail lights.

The camouflaged test mule of BMW 4-series hints the few changes for sure, while the lack of cladding to the bodywork indicate that the updates will be positive. The changes reflect similar to those done in BMW 3-series last year. From the spied shots, the front fascia of this test mule features a reshaped fresh air intakes and updated headlamps. Whereas, the rear gets a slightly revised bumper along with the fresh light cluster.

Some sources also confirm that this upcoming 4-series gran coupe is likely to benefit from the range of engines offered with the new 3-series in 2015. The entry level engine of this range powered by a 3-cylinder 1.5-litre turbo petrol, while an plug-in hybrid 430e will also be offered.
