After a great success of TVS Jupiter in the scooter segment, the brand is eyeing to expand its scooter lineup with a bit higher displacement offering. For a reminisce, a 125cc TVS scooter is under construction and it is expected to appear at the upcoming auto expo in early next year.
Readying to compete hard with the contenders available in the market such as Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125, the new scooter will be full-fledged offering with features incorporated for the first time in the segment. That is traction control and riding modes. Other than this, a USB charging port and external fuel filler cap will also be there for your convenience along with the Apache 200 inspired instrument cluster.
Under the seat, the scooter will be loaded with a 125cc fuel injected powertrain as witnessed several times during its spied event. Also, the 125cc TVS scooter will be capable of attaining the top speed of 102km/hr that will make its suitable offering to cruise in a relaxed manner at speed of the 70-80km/hr. While braking will be taken care by a front disc and rear drum brake.

If the pricing of the 125cc TVS scooter is considered, it will definitely be a costlier product as featured with modern technologies but the bike maker will try its level best to keep the price in check as India is a cost-sensitive market.
Currently, the Chennai based manufacturer is on the second position in scooter segment and looking forward to giving competition to country largest two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp in electric scooters.
