Toyota will be announcing the facelift of its best selling sedan Corolla Altis. They have scheduled the launch of 2014 Corolla Altis to be in the month of May. This time, the corolla will be served in a much refreshed and aggressive manner. With the add-ons of new aspects and privilege for each variant, the car is furnished with rear reclining seat, a rear power socket brake assist and rear fog light. Being one of the most reliable brands, Toyota has always served quality assurance with their cars and SUVs.
The new Corolla Altis is likely to be carrying forward the ongoing configurations of the car. It will be undergoing the treatment of same petrol and diesel engines. The 1.8 liter Petrol motor generates 140 BHP of power at the maximum, rotating at 6400 RPM. The VVT-i engine technology is mated with 6 speeds manual and 6 speed CVT Automatic gearbox options.
The diesel specs sound dull at 1.4 liter engine, churning out 88.4 BHP of maximum power while rotations being 3800 units per minute. This engine is connected to a 6 speed manual transmission which is a good thing. Both, Petrol and Diesel versions will be available in J, G and GL variants. Diesel model will get J(S) variant in addition while petrol one will get CVT and VL variants.
