2016 Auto Expo: Tata Zica Spotted in Aqua Blue Paint Job

Tata Zica has finally appeared in public at the 2016 Auto Expo after being revealed in videos and images, and that too in a sporty avatar. Unlike the Figo-inspired orange theme, this time the hatch was seen in an Aqua Blue color scheme. Through this version of Zica, the automaker has expressed its intention of offering amazing customisation packages with the product. Though, it's been a long time since the car is being promoted, we still don't have any clue about the confirmed launch date of the car. Reportedly, the car could arrive at showrooms later this month and would be renamed as the term Zica resembles to Zika virus.  

Starting with the exterior portions, it is adorned with a sporty front bumper carrying a silver lining at the bottom. It also gets roof rails and a floating rear spoiler finished in silver. The ORVMs are integrated with turn indicators are also covered in black paint. Further, the alloys are new and there are decals on the side as well as on the bonnet.

Just to make it sporty from inside, it's also been fitted with premium black leather seat covers. In terms of comfort and entertainment features, it is equipped with power windows, rear defogger, power adjustable wing mirrors, 2DIN audio system, Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, steering mounted controls and Juke app accompanied by 4 speakers and 4 tweeters.

Moving on to the mechanical configuration, it is likely to be powered by a 1.2 litre petrol motor, which makes 85PS and 114Nm of maximum power. Besides, a 1.05 litre diesel motor option could also be available, that pumps out 70PS and 140Nm of maximum power. Transmission will be handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox.
