Right from the start, the International Motorcycle, Scooter, and e-bike fair has been unloading the surprises in volumes. While some automakers are presenting a tasteful modification of their stuff, others are engaged in launching masterpieces. Chief manufacturers from worldwide, viz, Ducati, Kawasaki, BMW, and Triumph have offered class machines in the beginning days of the show, which is still underway in Cologne, Germany.
Bikes from these manufacturers have always been embraced by the Indian motorcycle enthusiasts with a warm heart. Besides, any update on them, whether in terms of technology, powertrain or color is like icing on the cake. Fortunately, after flaunting the charm at the Intermot podium, some of the good offerings from these automakers will likely to be headed to home to us as well.
Here are 5 bikes that will probably come to India from the Intermot 2016
Ducati Supersport
Ducati has solidified its foot in India a few years back and since then the brand never turned back. The Italian bike maker has offered several spellbound products to the Indian market and amazed the audience. Ducati Supersport is a more road-focused sportster that will likely to be introduced in the country to dish the segment.
The Indian counterpart of the firm is waiting for the bike to hit the shores as early as possible. Briefing about the sports bike, it is required to mention that the motorcycle would not be as rich in ergonomics as the Panigale range, however, it is going to be blessed with a host of electronic goodies and rider aid stuff, which will certainly make it enchanting enough.
Above all, what will make this Supersport “not to give a second thought” is its price badge. Thanks to the Free Trade Agreement between India and Thailand, the bike will be boarded to our boundary with reduced taxation (if any).
2. 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 650
Kawasaki, a legendary name in the saga of racing championships has been one of the leading sports bike makers worldwide. Needless to say, the Ninja 650 gets a special place in the hearts of the bike aficionados in India since its birth here. Despite being in the genre of racing bikes, the sports tourer is practical for daily commuting.
Raising a question over the styling makes no sense as Kawasaki is known for its signature design, which is reason enough to grab the eyeballs. Speaking of the launch, the bike will be officially announced in India by early 2017 and expected to be priced significantly high i.e. by INR 20,000 to INR 30,000 over the ongoing model.

3. New Triumph Bonneville T100
Triumph has introduced a new Bonneville family at the Intermot named as T100, which is having more budget-friendly Bonnevilles. These 900cc bikes, when launched in India, will get a competitively low price tag, however, that might not be below the Street Twin.
In Spite of having similar electronic stuff like ABS, ride-by-wire, and traction control system, the Street Twin or to be specific, the non-chrome model will remain the most affordable model of the brand.

4. 2017 Kawasaki Ninja 1000
The Indian subsidiary of the Japanese brand has been dispatching the Ninja 1000 since 2014. Considered as one of the empirical bikes in the country, the sports tourer will certainly get the attention of the crowd with the update as well. The 2017 version of the bike will be priced beyond INR 12.5 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi).
Speaking of which, the design and technical updates make the real reason behind the hike. The Ninja 1000 now features the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), which dominates the Kawasaki Cornering Management System. The design of the tourer has been entirely modified.
5. 2017 BMW S1000 range
BMW’s entire S1000 range has been updated getting a host of mechanical and cosmetic alterations. The current series include the S1000RR, the S1000XR, and the S1000R. With these prominent modifications, BMW will incorporate some add-ons as well and land the models in India in the beginning of 2017.
As far as the price is concerned, expect them to be marginally higher than the offerings from the Italian and Japanese rivals.
