Mitsubishi has showcased the all-new 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport ( known as Mitsubishi Montero Sport in Philippines) at the 2016 Manila International Auto Show. The automaker claims that the new Pajero sport has been fitted with some additional value added accessories and features. At the show, the automaker has displayed model with two custom colours- Blue and red. The blue one features special tires, while the red one features black wheels followed by roof rack crossbars.
Under the hood, the car comes powered by a 4N15 2.4-litre MIVEC super clean diesel engine that churns out a maximum power of 181 PS at 3,500 rpm and a peak torque of 430 Nm at 2,500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission, which distributes the power via Super Select 4WD II four-wheel drive system.
Moreover, the Philippines-spec 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport features 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, LED headlights plus Tube-type LED taillights. The interior gets a colour multi-information display assembled within the instrument panel, engine start-stop button, 6.75-inch capacitive display infotainment system, Parking camera, power tilt/slide sunroof and dual-zone climate control. Mitsubishi is expected to launch the 2016 Pajero Sport by Mid-2017 in India.
