2018 Bajaj Discover 110 And Discover 125 Spied For The First Time Ever

The two of Bajaj products spotted in its latest avatar for the first time ever. However, both were sharing the similar brand name of Discover, the most trusted commuter brand name from the company. The Discover 110cc will be a new variant in the premium 110cc motorcycle segment and go in competition with the TVS and other brands models. While the 2018 Discover 125 will be the facelifted version of the existing one in the product lineup. The surfaced rumors around the corners are suggesting the launch of this new range of Discover on January 10, 2018.

Apparently, the new Discover 125 gets revised styling with some blacked-out treatment on the components such as wheels, forks, and engine. Also, the motorcycle gets new sticker job. Other than this, the bike will be furnished with a new semi-digital instrument cluster setup comprising the tachometer that is considered as an important aspect of every commuter motorcycle.

On the flip of the coin, the new 110cc Discover follows the similar styling of the ongoing 125cc model, though the model gets revised sticker work. The propelling tires on the spied mule were comparatively thinner than the on-sale Discover 125.

Both the 110cc and 125cc Discover models will now be based on a Diamond single downtube chassis as observed on the test mules. Along with this, the suspension setup is carried forward as it is- the telescopic forks up front and gas charged 5-step adjustable twin shocks. Braking part will be handled by drum brakes on both wheels on the new Discover 110. While a front disc along with a rear drum brake will take care the de-acceleration on the upcoming Discover 125.

If the powertrain is considered, the Discover 125 will get the same 125cc 2-valve DTSi motor of the outgoing model with minor changes. The engine on the current Discover 125 develops around 11PS of power and 11Nm of torque in association with a 5-speed gearbox. While the new Discover 110 variant will get the 110cc DTSi engine from the past with major changes. Expected to be offered with a four-speed gearbox, the engine is likely to generate around 9 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque.
