Bajaj Dominar Sales Grew Post Launch of 2019 Edition

2019 edition of the Bajaj Dominar 400 has been launched in April month with a host cosmetic updates, new features and improved power output. With the arrival of this updated trim, the model has witnessed a hike in sales as compared to posted figures in the recent past.

The registered sale for 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 edition in the first month of the launch is 1,346 units. However, these figures are not even close to what the brand expected (10k units per month)before introducing the model in the Indian biking industry. But as compared to sales reported in the past six months, these figures are far better. Because the sales figures in the five months before April 2019 evaluates lower than the sales in the single month of April.

Under the fuel tank, the 2019 Dominar edition continues to get power from the same 373.3 cc unit. More refined liquid cooled, DOHC, triple spark, FI engine is capable of delivering 39.9 hp of max power (up by 4.9hp) and 35Nm of torque (similar to earlier trim). With these updated power figures the 2019 trim is capable of completing sprint from 0-100kmph in just 7.1 seconds. The mill comes mated to a six-speed transmission along with a slipper clutch assist for seamless gear transmission.

In its segment, the 2019 Dominar 400 lock its horns with the rivals such as KTM Duke 390, RE650, Honda CB300R, TVS Apache 310, BMW G310R, etc.
