The launching date of the motorcycle is 9th September, 2014. The dealerships have already commenced bookings for this upcoming motorcycle, but it seems that the bookings for order will officially start from the launch date. Currently, only RC 390 will be making its way towards Indian roads and it is believed that the younger brother RC200 will be coming following the success path of its elder pal.
Technically, the RC 390 is pretty much similar with its cousin brother Duke 390. The major and most attractive difference between both of them is that the RC390 gets front body fairing and Duke 390 sports a naked street motorcycle. Well, the company is providing two choices for the rookie riders with similar technical specifications. Those who would love to ride a naked motorcycle can go with Duke 390 and for those who like covered motorcycle the KTM RC 390 will be a perfect choice for them.
RC 390 is blessed with the same 373.2cc engine, which is capable to generate 44PS of maximum power and a peak torque of 35Nm. The single-cylinder engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission and expected to achieve a top speed of approx 150KMPH. Talking about the outer appearance, RC390 looks so perfect carrying a faired livery along with massive fuel tank giving an aggressive sporty posture to its rider. And, eventually we have reached the pricing section of the motorcycle. The expected price of RC 390 will stand in between Rs 2.1 Lakh to Rs 2.4 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Mumbai).
However, the RC 200 will also be coming probably in the month of October, 2014. The company is tight-lipped regarding the launch of RC 200, might be the RC 200 will make its debut with the Pulsar 200SS.
