Honda Discontinue CR-Z: Make Its Way For 2017 Accord Hybrid and Clarity

Japanese carmaker recently released an official statement from the company’s office in North America that the CR-Z hybrid sports coupe will no longer be in service from this year. Whereas, Honda will introduce two new models to expand its market of electrified vehicles. Those two new upcoming models will be the 2017 Accord Hybrid and the Clarity fuel cell, electric, and plug-in hybrid.

Honda CR-Z was introduced in year of 2010 and go on sell as a 2011 model in the North American market. After the launch, the CR-Z struggled to find customers from the start and to be considered as a compromise vehicle. Though the company believed that the car had that potential to deserve far better than this. Honda made a list of major updates throughout its born, not just only to interior & exterior but underhood also got something extra ordinary. And the result turned the old CR-Z into the new “CR-Z hybrid sports coupe”, that gave an unexpected twist to its sell.

2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Went on Sell in The US�

The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid went on sale from yesterday in the US market with the slight hike of USD 300 over the 2016 model. The next generation Accord powered by Honda’s two-motor hybrid system with a 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine that delivers a power output of 212 hp. The advanced hybrid technology of the 2017 Accord, make it the most powerful and fuel efficient midsize hybrid sedan in the USA.

Next Generation 2017 Honda Clarity Electric and Plug-in Hybrid�

Yet-to-be launch, the 2017 Honda Clarity is expected to come with two powertrain options - Electric and plug-in hybrid. There are official details about its specifications and other mechanicals. However, the car will hit the dealerships in the US by the next year.
