Fiat India is doing it could to make the sales better and stay alive in the competitive Indian car market. Back in 2014, it launched a couple of vehicles, that is Punto Evo and Avventura Crossover, but the expected sales never come out for the company. Now, Fiat is all set to launch the Abarth brand in India with 595 Competizione car teased on company's website and the launch could be done next month in India. Along with this Abarth 595, Punto Abarth might come to India as well along with Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Talking about the car, it has been powered by 1.4 Litre T-Jet Turbocharged Petrol engine that can produce 160 PS power and 230 Nm torque. It will be paired with AMT system, but a manual one might launch as well to keep the enthusiasm up for the car enthusiasts. On the other hand, Abarth Punto will be the most powerful and affordable car in India that would be manufactured in India as well.
The Abarth Punto will also get a turbocharged engine and a few features which will make it competitive to the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and similar ones. Well, the launches are in order, but only that won't be enough for the company to generate sales and Fiat have to look after that as well.
