The Abarth Punto Evo is ready to hit the Indian market, next month. For promotion aspects, Fiat has released this model in its latest TVC. The company has mentioned 145bhp as a tagline for Abarth Punto because in this segment it will be the first car which crosses 100bhp power.
Under the hood, this hatchback will be powered by a 1.4-liter T-JET turbocharged petrol motor that churns out a power of 145 bhp and a maximum torque of 212 Nm. It will be clubbed with a 5-speed manual unit which helps to transfer power to the front wheels. Punto is the second model, which is to be powered by Abarth brand and was already debuted at the Abarth 595 Competizione launch event.

Fiat has made some minor changes in its features like the grille between fog lights have a strip line of red color. Besides this, it gets 16-inch diamond-cut Abarth Scorpion alloys, side skirts, Abarth decals on sides, side vents, new diffuser and wider tail pipes. Inside the cabin, it will be equipped with a contrasting red-yellow stitching, Abarth instrument cluster and pedals. Talking about the safety features, EVO will be comprised with seven airbags, Electronic Stability Programme, Hill hold assist, Anti-Lock Braking system with EBD and hydraulic brake assistance.
