Leaving all the rumors and news aside, the eagerly awaited TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is finally going to be unveiled globally in a few hours. Yes, 20th of January it is and the highly anticipated Tourer from the Indian two-wheeler giant, TVS, takes the wraps off. The launch event has been initiated in Chennai.

Giving a quick sneak-peak of the Apache RTR 200 4V, the motorcycle is powered by a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor with oil cooler that is paired to a five-speed transmission. The engine propels out 20.23 BHP of maximum power at 8,500 RPM and a peak torque of 18.1 NM at 7,500 RPM. Reaching a top speed of 130 kmph, the bike claims to go for 0 to 60 kmph in 3.9 seconds.
Talking about the mechanicals, the anticipatory Apache 200 features telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking duties are being performed by 270mm front and 250mm rear disc brake, having an optional dual-channel ABS. As per the design, the bike looks completely aggressive and took an inspiration from the Draken Concept, which was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. The motorcycle now flaunts like a Streetfighter and loses on semi fairing at the front end. For more stylish and hunky looks, the fuel tank has been widened. It is expected that Apache RTR 200 4V is going to take a price tag of INR 85000 and will come in two variants. Keep your fingers crossed as the bike is about to hurl shortly.
