Artem Energy Future Limited that is a home-grown electric vehicle technology company has announced the M9 electric scooter for India as its future model. The company claims, the M9 will be the safest scooter in the world.
The flagship scooter, the M9-A will be rolled out with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), a feature that is offered in the luxury cars. With this feature, the scooter will become collision proof and will send collision alert to the rider. Furthermore, the scooter will be furnished with cameras and radars that will make the rider aware with its 100m radius surrounding. Furthermore, different signs and warnings are sent to the rider via a smart helmet and via vibration feedback on the handlebars. In addition to this, the brand’s patented “EDB” (Electro-Dynamic Braking) technology provides safe rides by offering precise braking even in emergency conditions.
As the powertrain of the M9 scooter is not revealed by the automaker but as the company claims the flagship scooter will be capable of attaining 50kmph from standstill position in just six seconds. Altogether, the revealed distance travel is of 100kms in a single charge. To charge up the battery, the company provides a fast charger on-board or they can be swapped.

As the electric mobility is the future of transportation, various companies are developing their e-scooters. But no scooter with such advanced technologies is announced yet. The M9 is the flagship EV from the Artem though its launch timeline is not revealed yet. Whenever it will launch in India it will be a premium offering with an expensive price sticker.
