Bajaj Pulsar 150NS Global Exports Initiated Prior to India Launch

While the ardent bike enthusiasts were waiting for the naked Bajaj NS150 for like a very long period, the domestic automaker, Bajaj Auto, has dashed their hopes badly by exporting the motorcycle in international markets prior to its imminent launch in India. Reportedly, the naked streetfighter has been reached to eight countries worldwide, namely- Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Turkey, Ecuador, Finland, Thailand and the U.S.

Furthermore, the reports suggest that from the aforementioned countries, Columbia is the one, which is having the largest market share for NS150 as of now. The bike will be available as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) unit in the countries where Bajaj has got an assembly plant, whereas in the other countries, the street-fighter will be received as a Semi Knocked Down (SKD) unit. The NS150 has made its entry in the markets four days ago.

Under the hood, the bike gets power from a 149.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder DTSi engine that delivers 17BHP of power and 13NM of torque. The mill is matched to a five-speed transmission. The motorcycle has been inspired from its elder brother NS 200 in terms of design. Though, some of the technical bits have also been taken from the same like monoshock-suspension, instrument panel, etc.

Giving the exact price details of NS150 is not going to be a good idea as of now as we do not see any plans from Bajaj about the launching of the bike. Still, it is anticipated that the price could be around INR 75,000. Once launched, the NS150 will lock the horns of Suzuki Gixxer, the Hero Hunk and the Hero CBZ Xtreme.
