Bajaj Launches 2018 Pulsar NS 125 in Poland: Priced Around INR 1.58 Lakhs

Bajaj Auto has launched the Pulsar NS 125 in Poland. It is an all new variant in the brand’s highly popular motorcycle family. For this Pulsar trim is asking for the price of PLS 7,999 (around Rs 1.58 lakhs).

The Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS that is a 135cc displacement motorcycle does not seem compatible in several international markets where 125cc is already an established norm for entry level commuter. Also, there are chances that the Pune based bike maker could introduce the Pulsar NS 125 as a replacement for the Pulsar 135 LS that is doing well since long and earning low sales.

Altogether, the Indian two-wheeler market that is going to witness the ABS fitment mandatory with motorcycle 125cc or above, could result in price hike of the Pulsar 135 LS near to the Pulsar 150. For this, the Pulsar NS 125 will definitely be a good option for the brand as the Discover 125 is also struggling somewhere in the segment.

Being offered in dual tone graphics in Poland, the Pulsar NS 125 shares its design language from the 135 LS. The motorcycle features a 124.45cc, air-cooled single-cylinder DTS-i motor that generates the peak power of 12PS and 11 Nm of torque from a 5-speed unit.

Dimensionally, the Pulsar NS 125 is identical to its elder sibling the Pulsar 135LS. Albeit, the Bajaj Official website clarifies not only the Pulsar NS 125 is heavier but also has a large fuel tank capacity that is respectively 4Kgs and 10.5 litres.

On the suspension front, the Pulsar NS 125 is equipped with conventional telescopic forks up front and rear twin shock absorbers. Whereas, a set of 240mm front disc and 130mm rear drum takes care the stopping responsibilities. The bike stands on 17-inch wheels wrapped up with 2.75 x 17 front and 100/90-17 rear tyres. The company offers a range of colours to chose in Poland which is full black, red-black and blue-black.

Here in India, the introduction of the Pulsar NS 125 is not confirmed though we can expect it sometime early in next year. If launches, it will carry a price tag around INR 60,000, the product near to the entry level Pulsar 150 pricing of INR 65,000.
