Bajaj will Support KTM to Increase Business in Indonesia

The Austrian auto maker, KTM is appearing so focused to enlarge its business globally, as the giant has announced that the existing Duke/ RC models will be terminated and substituted by the newbies by the year 2017. New motorcycles will come featured with new engine specifications as the Euro VI will introduce in Europe in 2017 and the Indian regulations are also quite similar to Euro VI. The co-partner Bajaj Auto will do the Job in collaboration to help the Austrian automaker in overhauling the KTM’s product portfolio.

Apart from this, KTM is focusing to increase sales figures in Indonesia and to attain this goal KTM decided to make PT Bajaj Auto Indonesia, a subsidiary of Bajaj Auto, its center for operations in Indonesia. The KTM formally announced to the CNBC TV18 that now KTM will also use Bajaj’s CKD assembly plant to import its bikes and retail in the Indonesian market.

KTM 390 Duke

The handshake between the Indian automaker Bajaj Auto and Austrian bike manufacturer, KTM has proven so beneficial to both the brands. As, both are growing their market not only in India but also worldwide. Furthermore, the KTM will be benefited from using established, Bajaj’s dealership, distribution and its network.

KTM is gearing up to invade the iranian market with its 48% shareholder Bajaj Auto. The Iranian auto market will be confronted as a lucrative market for the automakers, which develops economical, small and medium displacement vehicles, as after Iran permitted to trade in the country. If it comes true, than India will be the first Indian two wheeler manufacturer to trade with Iran. The KTM and Bajaj could use the similar way to export their products, built at Chakan based production facility.
