The upcoming BMW G310 R will be wearing Michelin tyres and that too India-made. Michelin is said to be the exclusive supplier of the tyres to the BMW tourer. The top officials confirmed that that the company has partnered with BMW for developing the budget tourer sports bike in India.
Interestingly, BMW has released the promotional video of the BMW G310 R recently which hints the early arrival entry-level roadster. Previously, many spyshots of the G310 R have been captured while trial ride and now it's just official. However, it is still not confirmed that the bike will be equipped with the Michelin Pilot Street radials as the officials didn’t revealed anything as such.

Meanwhile, we can also witness TVS bringing it’s own BMW G310 R look alike model with Michelin-branded tyres. A year before, TVS’ tyre manufacturing branch- Srichakra signed an agreement with the Michelin brand. TVS will also be setting up its next plant in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. It is believed that the manufacturing firm’s annual capacity of making tyres is around 36 lakh.
