BMW Set Up its Next Generation X6 in India at INR 1.15 Crore

The next generation BMW X6 has been launched in India at the cost of INR 1.15 Crore. The German luxury car manufacturer has also introduced the M-Sport kit on this latest model in order to make it more appealing than the outgoing version with sporty bumper, illuminated M-branded sill plates and M-Sport steering wheel. Whereas its exterior has been adorned by LED headlights and 19 inch alloy wheels, the interior embraces more impressive equipments, such as BMW's iDrive connected multimedia system, head-up display, a Harmon Kardon sound system, M suspension and reverse camera.

Next Generation BMW X6 Exterior

This car is ready to be sold out in India in xDrive40d variant, powered by a 3.0 litre in-line six cylinder TwinPower Turbo diesel engine with the capacity of churning out 313 hp of power at 4,400 rpm and a peak torque of 630 Nm between 1,500 rpm to 2,500 rpm. This mill is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission for distributing the produced power equally to all the wheels of the next generation BMW X6.

The company has claimed that it can be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, ahead of making a top speed of 240 km/h. Based on the latest chassis, the new X6 has been constructed with high-strength steels, aluminium and thermoplastics, which have helped this vehicle in reducing its weight around 40 kg and made it more fuel efficient via returning 15.87 km/l of mileage.

Just like the predecessor model, this time also BMW will import the X6 SUV via CBU (Completely Built Up) route.
