BMW X7 For India Will Be Official by October

BMWs news flagship SUV the X7 is all set to get revealed in upcoming festive season. As the BMW has already made all its entire product portfolio revamped including new-gen 5 Series, X4, X5, Z4 and the updated 8 Series.

The BMW X7 will be the elder sibling of X6 and was previewed at the X7 performance Concept at 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. When SUV will get launched it will take the X series to the new heights and will lead the SUV line up as a luxurious travel class.

The BMW flagship SUV will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLS and Range Rover. It will get new larger and bold Kidney grille as apparent from the leaked images earlier.

The SUV will also get a sleek pair of headlights matching with the incoming 7 series facelifts and overall same design language goes to the headlight also.

The BMW X7 is said to appear boxier albeit for a more cabin space having multiple luxury and convenient features for the riders and the driver as well. As it is the luxury SUV, it might only come in the 4 set configuration being a class apart from other typical SUVs available in India.

While the SUV will be having CLAR platform which currently goes with the ongoing 5 and 7 series and M5. The SUV is said to be powered with both the petrol and diesel engines having both the turbocharged 2.0-litre and a 6.6-litre V12 engine.

It is doubted that an eco-friendly plug-in hybrid is also under development as the patented iX7 symbols denote the same. BMW’s factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina will be the destination for the production of BMW X7.

Expected to be released by 2018 and is sure to get launched in India as well, starting from CBU unit and finally getting assembled at the Chennai plant.
