Cleveland CycleWreks Officially Launch in India Later This Year

Indian biking Industry, which is the largest two-wheeler market in the world, is an ocean of opportunities for the manufacturers across the world. In recent years, we have witnessed the introduction of several international brands and they have received a warm welcome from the masses. This time, a Cleveland, Ohio-based American bike manufacturer, Cleveland CycleWerks is in the queue to enter the Indian market by third quarter of this year.

This upcoming auto major setup its roots in the motoring world in 2009 and is renowned to built low range motorcycle along with fabricating custom designs. The Cleveland CycleWreks motorcycles ranges from 110cc to 450cc engine capacity and most of their equipped components are sourced from China.

Internationally, the manufacturer offers various models in different category which consists of the Heist, a bobber style cruiser-brand’s first product launched in 2010; the Ace, an old-school commuter bike, and the Misfit, a café racer motorcycle. Under the fueltank, all these bikes are underpinned by a 250cc engine. The Ace, commuter is being offered in different trims including Standard, Deluxe, Café and Scrambler variants.

Besides this, the 110cc displacement engine bikes are also in the Cleveland CycleWerks lineup which are the FXX and the FXR. While, the Hooligun, a serious adventure motorcycle, which cater the brand’s highest capacity motorcycle, is powered by a liquid-cooled, four valve OHC engine with 450cc engine displacement.

As the Indian website of the Cleveland CycleWreks displays, initially, the company might offer only the Misfit, the Ace and the FXR, which will be assembled at its co-partner, Laish-Madison MotorWreks (LMMW) manufacturing unit in Hyderabad. As reported on the website, the plant has an annual production capacity of 30,000 bikes and in future this can be expanded over 40,000 units yearly. There are chances, the brand could bring its products from CKD channels, during its Introduction in India.
