Datsun Go T(O) Launched with Airbag to Improve Safety

It was last year when Indian bound Datsun Go had undergone the NCAP crash test and performed very poorly with negligible scoring out of 5 stars. This test turned out to be the sales breaker for the company and the cars were on all time low sales from the company. Now, the company has taken a step to improve the scenario with the launch of new Datsun Go T(O) with better manufactured material and air bags too. However, the price has also been increased by INR 16,000 for these changes and now sits at INR 4.38 Lac Ex-Showroom.

There will be driver side airbag and higher grade sheet metal to ensure the safety of occupants from the frontal crash test. Although the measures are not still very good compared to others, but yeah very much better than what was on offer by the Datsun than earlier.

Along with this Datsun Go, the famous Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback also performed way below the standards, though did very good in UK, but unlike Datsun, it has not come up with any such changes or improvements for India so far.
