Datsun India, the budget arm of Nissan has launched the special limited-run Anniversary edition of Go hatch and the Go+ MPV. the former has been priced at INR 4.19 Lakh, while the later one is offered at INR 4.90 Lakh (both prices are ex-showroom New Delhi). These special editions of both the cars are based on the top-end trims and also come with several added aesthetic updates.
The Anniversary edition gets subtle change on the outfit that includes dual colour sporty body graphics run across side profile, front bumper and roof of the car. Besides, both the car now come with first in segment ambient lighting app for mobile users, smart keyless entry and more. The prices for the Anniversary update, however, are almost similar to that of the outgoing variants.
With this special edition update, both the cars sound appealing from inside-out. Other added exterior details include Anniversary Edition badges and sporty black spoiler at the rear, whereas the cabin gets the new blue accent on cabin highlights such as seats, instrument cluster, gearbox housing and the central console.
Besides, these special editions come with a number of new equipment including anniversary floor mats, art leather seats, rear parking sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, radio and USB connections.
Mechanical specs remain unchanged for both the special edition Datsuns. The Datsun Go hatch and the GO+ MPV continue to draw power from a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which churns out a maximum power of 68 PS along with the peak torque of 104 Nm. This motor returns a decent fuel mileage of 20+ kmpl.
