Dual Channel ABS Accompanied Bajaj Dominar 400 Spied Before its Launch

The much hyped flagship model of the Bajaj lineup, since its debut at the 2014 Auto Expo. The Bajaj Dominar 400, which is all set to hit the Indian market, has been spied with the dual channel ABS equipment just a day before its launch. The online surfaced images of the Dominar 400 has been captured at a local dealership of the brand.


From these latest images, the observed major difference in the Dominar 400 from the previous shots, is the integration of dual channel ABS. Besides, this most powerful motorcycle in the Bajaj stable until now, is featured with an array of noteworthy attributes as the employment of fully digital instrument console, not only first in the segment but also the first native giant product is featured with full LED headlamp and a blue backlit switchgear is also there on the bike.

Now move over the instrument cluster of the bike, it is distributed in two parts, handlebar mounted primary display endows information about the speed, RPM, trip meter and fuel gauge. Whereas the fuel tank placed secondary screen displays the ABS, side-stand and the Bajaj logo indications.

Dual channel ABS system


Propelling duties of this Dominar 400 cruiser sport, is under the supervision of identical 373.2cc single cylinder liquid cooled motor, shared from the KTM Duke 390. The slotted retuned engine generates claimed 35bhp power from the coupled 6-speed gearbox transmission. Moreover, it gets MRF tubeless tyres wrapped on the 5 spoke split spoke rims. The USD forks and disc brakes positioned up front of the showcased concept has been replaced by the inverted front fork and by the right side placement of disc brake in this going to launch model.


However, the official pricing for the impending Dominar 400 has not been revealed, however, it is likely to launch at an introductory price of INR 1.8 lakh for the single-channel ABS trim and the dual-channel ABS equipped variant will hold the price tag of INR 2.2 lakh. Mentioned price are the on-road prices for the Delhi region.
