Evoke Motorcycles Disclosed 6061 Electric Sportbike Final Design

The China-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer-Evoke Motorcycles has recently unveiled the final concept design of its premium electric bike-Evoke 6061. The bike is also codenamed as Kruzer, and it is expected that the bike will be priced competitively by the Chinese e-bike manufacturer while entering the Indian market.

This premium bike from Evoke Motorcycles is currently in its prototyping stage and incorporates green mobility in terms of design. The e-bike comes with big lithium-ion batteries, which makes it a power-cruiser package.

The design team of the company was also found saying that Evoke 6061 name is primarily inspired from its unique ‘Twin Plate Frame,’ which comes with Precision Laser Cutting and slices out the battery box and bike frame from solid T6061 aluminum billet. To brief you a bit more, 6061 is basically a precipitation-hardened aluminum alloy, which contains magnesium and silicon as its defining elements.

On the design front, the battery packs, powertrain components, and tubular subsections are directly inserted into the twin Plate Frame. The swingarm of the bike is also similarly designed. A 10-inch touchscreen also comes onboard with 6061.

Talking about performance, a high output in-runner motor coupled with a chain final drive handles the duty of running Evoke 6061 on roads smoothly. As quoted by the manufacturer, the powertrain of Evoke 6061 is capable to generate 160 hp along with 27 Nm of torque. To handle such power on the ground, DCT (dual compound tyre) size 200/55-17 at the rear with a matching DCT 140/70-17 in the front are present in the e-bike.

The 6061 e-sportbike Evoke’s Gen 2 battery packs that can be easily charged up to 80 percent in just 15 minutes. A total of six modules of the Gen 2 Battery Packs will be used in this new e-bike with a maximum capacity of 15.4 kWh.
