Faraday Future Renders Teaser of its First Production Model

The thirst of being on top can’t be quenched and completely not in the automobile segment in which the competition among the auto firms has been increasing at the brisk speed. Same can be seen with Faraday Future, an electric-car startup, which has come up with a teaser of its first production model in order to foray into the electric car segment. Much like most company's electric units, Faraday Future's upcoming electric-vehicle (EV) has also perceived its target in electric car giant Tesla, precisely that would be Model X. The rendering of a yet-to-be-named car is revealing the car's front- and rear-end.

Recently, a prototype of the SUV was caught on camera during the testing round at the south of Los Angeles. Designed by Richard Kim, the former BMW i3 and i8 designer, the all-new pure electric Faraday's unit will make its first glimpse at the in January 2017 at Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Going by the teaser, which doesn’t unveil much except the swanky LED headlight line that runs across the front of the car, appears to be inspired by that of the LeEco first electric car concept once displayed in an event and a simulated grille wearing the Faraday Future double F logo.

Earlier in last month, Faraday Futures has also released a teaser of this same car testing and what seems to be a test track in Southern California. A short 15-second video clip displayed-above - titled “Can’t Hear the Engine,” covered by heavy camo, showed quick driving on a track. The model in question will reportedly house an LG Chem battery pack, which is claimed to be the most energy-dense lithium-ion batteries available on the market. Moreover, the company has not disclosed any further details of its first production vehicle that could be revealed any soon.

Those who don’t know, Faraday Future has also engineered a Variable Platform Architecture, an innovation that can underpin any sort of vehicle, from compacts to a pickup truck. This has also laid many manufacturers to ties with this company including Aston Martin, which has earlier partnered with Faraday Future along with a multinational internet technology company, LeEco.
