Fiat Urban Cross Launched in India at INR 6.85 Lakh

The all new Fiat Avventura Urban Cross has been launched in the country at a starting price of INR 6.85 Lakh. The variant details and the other specs had already been slipped-out, and similar to that the hatchback is offered in both diesel and petrol powertrain. The diesel-powered Urban Cross comes in two trims - Active and Dynamics, whereas the petrol Urban Cross is available in only single variant - Emotion.

The petrol engine is powered by a 1.4-litre T-Jet motor which is capable of producing the maximum power of 140 PS and the peak torque of 210 Nm. Whereas the diesel engine gets 1.3-litre Multijet turbodiesel that gives power and torque output of 93 PS and 209 Nm respectively. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox in both the variants.

As we wrote earlier, pre-bookings for the car had already been commenced across all the Fiat dealerships across India with a token amount of INR 21,000.

The new updates to the car include revised bumpers , a pair of roof rails and some chunky side moulding. The spare wheel on the tailgate has also been removed on this new hatch.
Outside, the car measures the same as we wrote before, 4,000 mm in length, 1,700 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height with the ground clearance of 205 mm.

The top-end trim of Urban Cross hatchback comes with the 16-inch 'Scorpion' alloy wheels while the rest two, Active and Dynamic models get piano-black finish alloy wheels.

A 5.0-inch Smartech touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity comes as standard across all variants. Inside the cabin, the Urban Cross Emotion and dynamic variants get a premium burgundy interior theme with colour-coordinated door inserts, piano black finish door armrests and seats. This special colour theme is available for a limited time during the festive season. Other interior features include steering-mounted controls, automatic air conditioning and a rear AC vent.
