First Set of Ford Mustang Spied in India

Those who have been waiting for the most iconic and muscular Ford Mustang can start the preparation to buy this car. The first slot of this new vehicle has been spotted in India by TeamBHP forum member. The image clearly shows three of the four units painted in red shade with black wheels placed at company's yard in Chennai. If media report is to be believed, some more units were also reached at Mumbai that were imported from the USA. Moreover, it is expected to be launched in the country in the second quarter of this year.

If you are not aware, the car was first unveiled in January 2016, followed by lately concluded Delhi Auto Expo. Mechanically, the Mustang GT coupe will be powered by a 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8 petrol engine that is tuned to churn out 435 Bhp of power and 542 Nm of massive torque. In order to deliver power at axles, an engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission in India, while the manual option is available globally.

As the first 2-door Ford car in India, it will arrive in the country via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route. Also, it is the first generation model as a right-hand configuration. Some of the features like 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlamps, LED tail lamps, and a rear spoiler can be loaded at the exterior. Inside, the Mustang can have a 4-gauge instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, paddle shifters, a multi-function steering wheel and Fords' SYNC 3 infotainment system with navigation support.

More details about this 2 door car will be revealed soon before its official launch. Yet to confirmed, it is going to be sold at a higher price in comparison to the international version due to additional custom and many other charges while import.
