Twenty-Two Motors, a year old startup, manufacturers the electric vehicles. The company unveils the Flow, electric scooter concept, the first product by the company. The Flow is about to finish the production.
The appealing looks of the scooter accomplished by a keen front apron, a round headlamp with an LED ring setup, clean appearance, and angular design. It has acquired the scaled-up characteristics by the company with the unique and nice features which are so different to be imagined in a scooter.
Concerning the technical specifications, the Flow is powered by a 2100 watts electric motor which is able to churn out a maximum torque of 90Nm at 100 RPM, this information is confirmed by the company. The Flow weighs 85 kg and payload weight is 150 kg. The scooter maintains a speed of 60 kmph and can go as long as 80 km at one time fully charged battery. In addition, the battery of the electric scooter can be charged fully in two hours.
Scooter has so many fancy features such as telescopic suspension, disc brakes at both ends, under seat storage to hold two helmets at once, a mobile charging socket. It is expected that the bike will be launched at auto expo 2018 with the price range of Rs. 65,000 to 70,000.
Parveen Kharb, CEO, and Co-Founder of Twenty Two Motors said about the scooter, “We are super excited to unveil the prototype of FLOW to the consumers in India. FLOW boasts of industry-defining features which are going to be the benchmarks for others to follow. We conducted surveys and open houses for about 500 customers in NCR, Pune, and Jaipur and the response was overwhelming. We have put an initial investment of about 5mn in the manufacturing facility in Bhiwadi which has an installed capacity of 10,000 units.”
Twenty-Two Motors has equipped the scooter with some unique features by the addition of LCD display, reverse gear, cruise control, programmable LED lights, a Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS), and much more. In the company offering, there is a mobile app to track the scooter, check for any hard situations, analyze, program the power, remotely track the scooter and check torque deliveries. One of the amazing features of the scooter is ‘Geo-fencing’, in which one can define the restricted area not to be crossed by scooter. In case of going out of the not-to-go area, notification will be sent to the mobile app and you can stop the scooter from distance as well.
