Ford Mustang Coming to India on January 28

It's time to rejoice for all the speed lovers as the iconic muscle car Ford Mustang is ready to arrive at the Indian shores on 28th January, 2016. This supercar had already been unveiled at the 2016 Shanghai Auto Show and now it will be brought to India via CBU route. Since its introduction in 1964, it's the first time that this high-performance machine is going to be offered in the right hand drive version. Well, even though the enthusiasts can opt for various other offerings in the segment, but the new Mustang can prove to be a game changer.

Discussing the features equipped in the vehicle, from outside it houses signature HID headlamps and LED tail lamp cluster accompanied by turn signals as standard fitment. Globally, various personalisation options are offered to the customers, but we don't know if the same will be there in our country. For safety, it sports Blind Spot Information System that uses radar technique to detect a nearby vehicle and displays an alert indicator at the rear view mirror.

The interior is fitted with a host of amazing features like sync 3 infotainment, adaptive cruise control, start/stop button, 4.2-inch MID display on the instrument cluster, and automatic wipers. The audio system comes with AM/FM stereo, CD-MP3 player alongside an 8-inch sub-woofer and 12 speakers.

Mechanically, the Mustang is sold with three categories of engine, including a 3.7 litre Ti-VCT, 2.3 litre EcoBoost and a 5 litre V8 engine. As far as Indian spec is concerned, it is likely to be powered by the 5 litre motor that makes 435PS and 542Nm of maximum output. The transmission duty is performed by a 6-speed facility, available in both manual and automatic guise.
