2019 Hero XPulse 200, 200T And Xtreme 200S finally Launched in India

The Hero MotoCorp has atlast seen the eagerness among the people about the three most-awaited bikes namely the XPulse 200 and the XPulse 200T due to which the company has at last launched them in India.

Price sticker

The price tag of the carburettor injected version of the Hero XPulse 200 bike is INR 97,000 and the Fuel injected variant costs INR 1.05 lakh. While the XPulse 200T will come only in Carb variant which will carry a price sticker of INR 94,000. Apart from these bikes, the company also launched the Xtreme 200S which is the fully faired variant of the Xtreme 200R at INR 98,500 (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi).

Hero XPulse 200

The XPulse 200 is almost an off-road motorcycle which comes with a long-travel suspension i.e. 190mm travel at the front, 170mm at the back, high ground clearance of 220 mm and larger spoked wheels (21-inch up front and 18-inch at the rear) which are covered with knobby Ceat Gripp tyres. The height of the seat is 825 mm. The bike also comes with mud guard, knuckle guards, front fender and the exhaust is positioned higher for the purpose of water-wading.

Hero XPulse 200T

The Xpulse 200 T is a road biased touring version of the Xpulse 200. The wheel setup is same like the Hero Xtreme 200R bike i.e. urban-friendly i.e 17-inch alloy wheels shod along with tubeless MRF rubber i.e. 100/80 at the front, 130/70 at the rear. The 200T contains its own suspension tuning but still they look same like the XPulse. Both the bikes includes- Bluetooth connectivity, a fully digital instrument console, LED lights at both ends, turn-by-turn navigation accessible through an app, and a single-channel ABS system.

Hero Xtreme 200S

The Hero Xtreme 200S has the similar internals as of the Xtreme 200R which comes in a fully faired package. The bike also features LED headlamps and fully digital instrument cluster.

Powertrain

All the three bikes are powered by the 199.6cc air-cooled engine that produces 18.4PS of peak power and 17.1Nm of peak torque which is coupled to a 5-speed transmission. The XPulse 200 and 200T are the adventure and touring motorcycles which has been priced affordably if both the things are to be considered. The XPulse 200 is better and more affordable that the Royal Enfield Himalayan which costs INR 1.79 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the Xtreme 200S will compete with the Bajaj Pulsar 200F (Rs 1.0 lakh) and Suzuki Gixxer SF (Rs 1.0 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi).
