Prior to the 2016 Auto Expo, the model, which is presumed to be called as Hero Passion iSmart has been caught by GaadiWaadi once again. It will probably make its debut at the upcoming Auto Expo, planned to be organized in Greater Noida, this February.

From the spied images, it is found that the prototype is an iSmart-armed bike as the blue switch was there on the right switchgear console, which is basically the iSmart on/off control. It has been taken from the Hero Splendor iSmart. Hero Motocorp has developed an i3S technology on their iSmart models, which turns off the engine in situations like when the motorcycle is stationary, in neutral, when its free for a while from the clutch lever or in conditions where the rider stops the bike indicating a red signal. When the signal gets clear, the bike makes a smooth move thereafter.
Talking about the engine specifications, the Passion iSmart is likely to get a self-developed 111cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which made its inception on Hero Duet and the Hero Maestro Edge. The motor claims 8.43 PS of power and 8.30 NM of torque on scooters. The anticipated mileage claim is around 90 km/l.
Cosmetically, the new Tourer looks identical to the Splendor iSmart to a certain extent. Snaps of the test mule unveiled that it will feature black spoke alloy wheels, drum brake on both wheels, lean-section tyres, usual exhaust pipe, an analog speedometer, a breach grasp handlebar for the comfort sitting of the pillion.
