Honda CB Unicorn 150 Not for Domestic Sales Now

Well, who knows that the entry of the all new Honda CB Unicorn 160 leaves behind its predecessor in a dark corner? The Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has decided to stop the sales of its decade old motorcycle, Honda CB Unicorn 150. As of now, the firm has stopped the domestic sales of the Unicorn 150 motorcycle and simply concentrating over the newly launched commuter. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer will now only be exporting the 150cc motorcycle. So, from now on it will only be available for the international market, not for domestic sales.

The Honda Motorcycles is ruling the 150cc segment by offering three amazing products, i.e. Honda CB Trigger, CBR 150R and the newly introduced next gen Honda CB Unicorn 160. The dealers of the Honda Motorcycles have already stopped attending the bookings of the CB Unicorn 150. Talking about the ceased domestic sales of the aforementioned motorcycle, the firm says, "The new CB Unicorn 160 not only carries forward the legacy of the iconic Honda Unicorn 150; but also gives fresh impetus to the 150cc-180cc segment. We regularly review our model mix to cater to evolving trends in customer preferences. The initial success and acceptance of the new CB Unicorn 160 has been encouraging and we are now focusing on increasing its domestic supply in a phased manner. Considering huge popularity of the CB Unicorn 150, it will continue to contribute to our exports."

Mechanically, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 is featuring a power plant comprises of single-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 163.2cc. The air-cooled, 4-stroke engine is tuned to generate a maximum power of 14.5 BHP @ 8000 revs and achieves a peak torque of 14.6 Nm @ 6000 RPM. The 163.2cc displaced engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Honda CB unicorn 160 is equipped with the high-class and fuel-efficient HET (Honda Eco Technology) technology, providing a fuel efficient ride of 60 KMPL.

The Honda CB Unicorn 160 is being offered in two variants, the standard variant will cost Rs 71,924 and the CBS variant is priced at Rs 77,178 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The optional CBS variant is equipped with the Honda's Combi Braking System offering you better safety measures.
