The Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) has recently announced a date; 18th December, 2014. Along with the announcement of the date, the firm also reveals that they will be going to make another announcement on that particular date. Well, here my ears got stuck, as there is a possibility that the firm will introduce the newly rumored commuter segment motorcycle, Honda CB Unicorn 160. The firm is planning to introduce a commuter segment motorcycle, which falls under 150cc to 160cc segment. And, from the past few months, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 was being spied while it's testing over the Indian roads.
Technically, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 is expected to receive a single-cylinder, air-cooled motor configuration carrying 160cc displaced engine. The 160cc displacement engine is capable to generate a maximum power of 16 BHP (approx). Although, the Honda CB Unicorn 160 is completely based upon the previous model of the CB Unicorn, which is having an engine displacement of 150cc. The upcoming motorcycle will be equipped with telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear.
We will be looking forward that the Honda CB Unicorn 160 will be making its appearance loaded with fresh design. The upcoming motorcycle receives a whole new bikini fairing, newly designed cladded fuel tank accompanied by aggressively styled headlamp. It also features a long seat and "X" shaped tail light. The major highlight of the motorcycle is that it is blessed with fully digital instrument console. It is also expected that the braking duties in the motorcycle have been taken care by disc brake at the front and rear both (rear could be an option). The upcoming Honda CB Unicorn 160 will be rivaling with newly introduced Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ-FI and FZS-FI.
