The decision to launch the higher-specification petrol-manual City was taken because of the huge demand for a manual gearbox furnished top petrol variant. Base S petrol trim is no longer manufactured and the petrol range makes an entry with the SV variant.

To make parking sensors as standard in all the models, Honda upgraded the entire City line-up. This has been done because of the rule that will come in to existence on July 1, 2019 in which it is mandatory to have standard fitment of safety features.
