Honda India Might Launch Amaze CNG Variant Soon

Honda India is ready to redeem its success in the country and make sure that people live their dream of buying a green car with them. Also, just a couple of days ago the company had launched a top-notch variant named VX (O) for its Brio hatchback and Amaze sedan with only cosmetic updates and now it's planning to launch a CNG version of its first ever diesel car Amaze. However, the car might see the light of the date no sooner than the 2nd quarter of the year. This CNG variant will get no other update than the new power option, but a CNG sticker on the rear which is also not confirmed yet.

The CNG kit will be fitted to the rear boot space and Honda might also launch an updated model of current version with lesser NVH effects. For now, the petrol model of Amaze is getting powered by a 1.2 Litre I-VTEC engine that produces 87 bhp power and 115 Nm of torque and claims to get offer 18 km/l mileage. On the other hand, the diesel version is powered by a 1.5 Litre DTEC engine, generating 99 PS power and 200 Nm of torque, offering mind-blowing mileage of around 25 km/l.

Well, the CNG model will surely take those mileage numbers to the new levels and as soon as the other details come out, we'll get back to you. Also, an approximate price hike of around INR 40,000 to 50,000 is expected for this CNG variant.
