Honda has made the introduction of its Jazz with Modulo J-Top Sport Package at the ongoing 2015 Bangkok Motor Show that has been commenced from today. Spilling the beans about its outlook terms, this model gets a side step garnish LED, door visor, door mirror garnish, door mirror protector, shark fin antenna, daytime running lights, cargo tray as well as front and rear under spoiler. It has already been launched in Thailand in May, 2014 as the third generation hatchback with “Solid Wing Face”, unique sheet metal and pillars. This variant is based on the same platform as the Honda City including similar dashboard and instrumentation.
Inside, the new Jazz receives touchscreen control for automatic AC, steering audio/phone controls, seven inch touchscreen audio system supporting HDMI, Siri Eyes Free Mode for iPhone, push button start and keyless entry. Moreover, its top end version comprises a high level of safety alongside ABS, EBD, VSA, reverse camera and six airbags. Beneath the skin, the Thai spec model is powered by a 1.5 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine to produce a maximum power of 117 bhp and a peak torque of 146 Nm.
This mill comes mated to the two transmission options for 7-speed stepped CVT and a 5-speed manual. In the Indian car market, the latest Jazz will make its presence by the mid of this ongoing year along with a 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine.
