Now, the car has made it possible last appearance at he Geneva Motor Show 2015 before finally getting launched in India. The launch date, however, hasn't been finalized yet nor the expected time of the year, but this could be the first launch by Japanese car company in India. Earlier, it didn't do well until the price cut as the market was not ready for the premium hatchbacks, although the scenario has been changed since then.

Talking about the features, the Indian version of the car will be 95 mm longer in length and would have 30 mm extended wheelbase as well. This facelift would also be having large luggage space of nearly 354 Litre and hence making it the largest in its niche. Powering this car would be 1.2 Litre I-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5 Litre I-DTEC diesel engine mated to 5-speed manual gearbox for the transmission purpose.

The price range could be an issue for the Honda as it was the reason last time Jazz didn't perform well in India. But, as mentioned above that the market approach has been changed over the time and this new India bound Honda Jazz could do well if price between INR 6-8 Lac Ex-Showroom.
