Kinetic Motoroyale May Launch the Hyosung GD250R in Coming Months

Hyosung GD250R may launch in the Indian biking Industry soon. The models like the GT250RC and Aquila Pro has already been launched by the Korean bike maker in its second inning with Kinetic. Earlier, the Hyosung motorcylce operations in India were under the supervision of DSK MotoWheels which has ended its collab even with Benelli also. Owing to this, there was a halt in the operations of Hyosung in the recent past. Now the brand is looking forward to bring its businesses once again in flow with the introduction of new products. The GD250R is one of them and anticipated to join its sibling soon.

The GT250RC in the existing lineup is a dearer offering as compared to this lightweight yet equally agile model, the Hyosung GD250R. Also, it is quite powerful than the other models available in the 250cc segment in India. With the bolted powertrain, the sportbike uses the maximum churned output of 28bhp and 25Nm which offers a dynamic riding and excellent performance for this lightweight motorcycle at just 138kg.

Other than this, Hyosung has models like Aquila Pro, Aquila 250, GT250R, and GT650R in the current lineup under GT and Aquila series bikes. Out of them, two are available with an ABS option to stand firm against rivals in the segment. The mentioned portfolio is updated range of bikes post its revival with Kinetic in India. Still, the automaker is struggling with the low sales numbers and is a major issue for the brand. Now with the GD250R that will be the first mass-market, single cylinder bike the brand is hoping for the best.

The GD250R which will go on sale via Kinetic Motoroyale dealerships will see competition with opponents like the Honda CBR250R, and the Apache RR310 as well owing to design symmetry like the twin headlamp setup and a pair of premium USD forks up front. Also, the price tag with an aggressive asking amount around INR 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom) would be able to stir the market in 250cc sportbike segment.
